U-TURN TO A FORGIVING GOD

The usual pathetic LIE of the enemy when we've done wrong things is to convince us to hide ourselves and get away from God because His love might "somehow decreased" and the enemy is telling us that God will "think about" if He'll forgive us.

But the TRUTH is God wants us to draw closer to Him when we've reached the end of the line. The way is not to jump off the edge of the cliff and totally die spiritually BUT to take a u-turn TOWARDS HIM. The TRUTH is God wants us to be truly sorry for our sins and receive His forgiveness and grace so that we may honor Him and live a life worthy of Him. "The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love." (Psalm 145:8)

So go ahead and repent before Him. Don't turn away from Him. He is waiting for you still with open arms telling you that He is a Forgiver. And rest assured when you confess your sins to Him, He is faithful and just, and will forgive you of your sins and purify you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

And what's more? God is willing to help you genuinely live for Him by the power of the Holy Spirit and by His grace all for His glory.

God is not angry with you. He longs to be the Lord and Savior of your life, your Almighty God, your Father, your Best Friend and your Perfect Lover.

Prayer:
Father God, I thank You for the gift of forgiveness and second chance.
Thank You that despite of all I've done, You're still offering me grace and eternal life through Jesus Christ. I am sorry for all my sins. Now, if ever I fail, I will not get away from You but I will draw closer to You. Thank You for dying for me at the cross so that I'll be forgiven. Help me by Your grace and by the power of Your Holy Spirit to genuinely and lovingly live for You. You are worthy, God, of my life. And I receive You, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for adopting me as Your child. Thank You for loving me and accepting me with open arms. This I pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus', amen!

Generational God

After hearing last Sunday’s preaching on Posterity centered on the heart of God for the next generations, I got so excited thinking of my future family that God will give to me as an inheritance. My heart and my mind traveled joyfully into the vision of having a privilege of loving a husband and of being able to raise godly kids.

I feel so loved that God has given me a desire to build a family few years from now. And I wonder what my future husband looks like or how many kids we will have or when will this come to pass. I realized that families are built for a generational purpose.

Countless are the number of people who lived in the world and so are the thoughts of God uncountable concerning us. Why would God think generational? Why does He build nations generational? Why does He bless generational?

There must be something that God wants us to learn and adapt from His very nature of being an everlasting God. Unlike men who are like the grass of the field which is here today and gone tomorrow, God never changes. From everlasting to everlasting, He is God. His heart, His Word and His purpose never change.

Now what can we do in response to this? I believe God wants us to think and live generational—to be wise in our choices and in our decisions that will affect our legacy which we will leave behind for the generations after us. If you’re underestimating the impact you are making now by the way you live, it’s time for you to know that how you live matters. What kind of legacy are you leaving behind? Make the most out of every single day.

Remember, if God cares generational, we must also care about what we pass on to our successors. What should we take hold of and pass on to the future generations is the sole purpose of mankind—to love the LORD our God, to obey Him and to walk in all His ways.

If you’re a parent, you should teach your children to love the LORD and “do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the LORD.” (Ephesians 6:4)

If you’re a daughter or a son, “obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother’—which is the first commandment with a promise—‘that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.’” (Ephesians 6:1-3)

If you’re like me, single but believing God for a lifetime partner, prepare and pray as early as now for your future family and have the goal of building it to make known to them who God is and what He has done for all of us.

The life we live now will either bless or burden the future generations. The Bible says that when we love the LORD our God and obey Him with all our hearts and with all our souls, we will live. Let’s choose life today so that we and our children and the next generations will also live.

Will you allow the Everlasting Generational God to create in you today a generational heart that honors Him now and forever?

God Above Typhoon Maring

UNA:
LOVE does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the Truth wins out. LOVE never gives up, never loses FAITH, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
(1 Corinthians 13:6-7)

Yan yung LOVE ni God for all of us. Mapa-bagyo, mapa-ulan man at kahit sa tag-araw!

PANGALAWA:
You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
God our Savior,
the Hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
who formed the mountains by Your power,
having armed Yourself with strength,
who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.
The whole earth is filled with awe at Your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
You call forth songs of joy.
(Psalm 65:5-8)

With wisdom He created the world and set everything and everyone in place,
With same wisdom, He will deliver us from the typhoon Maring and hanging Habagat.

You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.
(Jeremiah 29:13)

God is in control! He loves us more than words. He cares for us. And He wants to reveal Himself to us. :) He is worthy of our lives and praises!

Hard Days

I would have titled this one as "A Hard Day" but I realized all my todays are becoming harder and harder than my yesterdays. It's progressing everyday. My seconds to complain are getting fewer. But I'm receiving more minutes to trust a lot more better. Oh how I love to complain but I just can't. I'm getting thinner but my faith is getting bigger! I could have just cried all day long for these hardships I'm going through. I'm working overtime from Monday to Friday. I'm earning less than what I deserve. My income does not match my job title as a Writer. I know I'm doing my job well with that ridiculous absolute excellence I am committing everyday. So where could I find justice here? Or should I say fairness and human interest? I told you I can complain but this is just the truth about my life that I'm sharing.

I can complain. Oh yes I can but I prefer to trust not my troubles, not even myself but the One who is worthy of my excellence. I can't imagine how would my everyday be if the LORD is not helping me. Really. I could have gone crazy. I could have sabbotage my scripts and producers. I could have said all the curses anyone could imagine. I could have been anyone's mortal enemy. I could have blamed God for these sufferings. I could have jumped off from a hundred-storey building and died. I could but I just can't.

17 Thanks to Him who keeps on holding me together. 28 Thanks to Him who keeps on making all things work together for my good. 13 Thanks to Him who does not stop giving me supernatural strength and patience. 3 Thanks to Him who is enabling me to consider other's interests above mine. 10 Thanks to Him who's always cheering me up. 10 Thanks to Him who is letting me experience the fullness of life. 18 Thanks to Him who is preparing me for a greater influence. Thanks to Him who is using me for His Name's sake. Thanks to Him who is molding me into someone I never imagined I could be. Thanks to Him who is sending me on the edges for His glory. 13 Thanks to Him who is letting me share in the sufferings of Christ so I could also one day share in His joy. 3 Thanks to Him whose love never runs out on me. 5 Thanks to Him who is not leaving me.  8 Thanks to Him who is not forsaking me. 19 Thanks to Him who is giving me all I need. 9 Thanks to Him whose grace is sufficient in my weakness. 6 Thanks to Him whose love and goodness surely follow me all the days of my life. 14 15  16 Thanks to Him who is making me faultless and blameless. 3 4 Thanks to Him who is teaching me endurance and perseverance. Thanks to Him whose joy is my strength. Thanks to Him whom I have given all my hope. Thanks to Him who is my Everything. Thanks to Him who is worthy of all my praise. Thanks to Him whom I love forever and ever. Thanks to my Father. Thanks to my Lord, Savior and Redeemer. Thanks to my God whose Name is Jesus Christ.

Thanks to Him who loves me anyway... and loves you the same!

Wait. Be encouraged.

Wala pa din trabaho? Pareho tayo. :)

I got discouraged.

I tried few companies.. I became a member of JobsDB, even JobStreet. I sent awesome professional resume online. MANY TIMES. :))

And now what's the latest? Only one of them replied. And the job they are offering was still not for me.

What should I think, then, right now? What should now be my natural response?

"God is so unfair."?

"'Di Niya ako nakikita."?

"Hindi Niya alam sitwasyon ko."?

I don't think so.

I believe that God has plans for us. Never in my life His plans failed!

I cried. I really cried. I almost gave up. I almost lose hope.

But God said to me.. "If you trust Me, you'll wait on Me, Dianne."

And the same for you..

If you trust Him with all of your life, you'll wait on Him.

You will believe in Him. You will see Him and look to Him BY FAITH. You will walk with Him in this life with Faith and by Faith, as well.

Yeah! I totally got discouraged on myself.
But I didn't lose faith in the One who gives!

"All the days ordained for me were written in Your book
BEFORE one of them came to be." - Psalm 139:16 (NIV)

"MY GRACE IS ENOUGH; it's all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness."

Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks.

I JUST LET CHRIST TAKE OVER! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become."

-2 Corinthians 12:9 (The Message)

WALK in faith. MOVE with God.

JESUS HAS THE BEST IN STORE FOR US! :)
